Diptera
The Diptera (Flies) of Dawlish Warren have been little studied over the years, the vast majority of these records come from JH Cole on four visits to the site 09/09/1980, 25/08/1981, 17/08/1982 & 24/07/1984. In 2010 there was a national Dipterist visit but no records have been made available to the website. If you have any additional records or can update the latest sighting please get in touch. It is worth noting that over 60% of the species recorded are associated with Dune scrub - a now much reduced habitat on site.
